Band History
The band have spent a year or two getting the right line up together. Many tried out and many have fallen. Big thanks to the fallen. We hope you got something out of it. Now we have the line up finalised and we're all very excited by this band.
We played our debut gig on 06/12/09 at West Moors Memorial Hall. The gig was recorded by our great sound engineer, Kev, to enable us to produce our first demo CD.
In 2011 we changed the line-up and have a new singer and bassist. The line-up is now very strong and the band gels together better than ever.
At the start of 2012 we recorded our second demo CD which you can listen to on our Demo Tracks page (thanks again Kev). We are now enjoying getting out and playing some gigs.
Why ......"The Silver Horses" ?
Well - quite simple really. Our audience at every band practice is .... horses ! Seriously - and they love rock music !
We are fortunate to have our own dedicated band room which is built inside an out-house at an equestrian place. So, we thought it only fair that our band name should have some connection with our longest serving faithful fans !
